Disappointing
Venue recognized and followed social distancing guidelines which was very nice. Thank you GSR for making us feel safe. As soon as the light went up, there were many workers who came in to start cleaning/sanitizing for the next performance.
After months and months of waiting for "live shows" we were disappointed. The show was disappointing from the get go.
The opening act (can't even remember his name) was not very funny, there were hardly any laughs for him. I guess that would be expected from an opener, as an up and coming, at least he had a shot and I hope he continues to get better. I started to feel really bad for him.
Was hoping for another opening act before Beetlejuice - The Musical, but there wasn't anyone else.
It was truly disappointing and for the amount of money spent, an even bigger disappointment. We've seen Beetlejuice - The Musical before and I recall rolling in my seat with tears of laughter streaming down my face - needless to say, this was NOT that same level of comedy. Not sure if we'd spend the money again to see Beetlejuice - The Musical live, but we'll continue to look forward to Netflix specials etc. That fun energy was just not there.
